ZM2103 Kaplan Turbine Brake Friction Trainer Educational Equipment Hydrodynamics Laboratory equipment
Kaplan turbine – Brake friction bench suitable to simulate a small-scale installation with a Kaplan turbine system, especially designed for educational purposes, for the study and the demonstration of the behavior and the characteristics of a Kaplan turbine. It must be delivered with three (3) propellers with different angles of input and output, which can be exchanged in a fast and simple way.
It must be designed to achieve the following training objectives, where the first three must satisfy the ISO performance curves:
- Torque – speed (M-n)
- Brake power – speed (Pe-n)
- Performance – speed (η-n)
- Torque – U (M-U)
- Brake power – U (Pe-U)
- Performance – U (η-U)
It must be equipped with the following technical data:
- Gauge type: Bourdon with glycerin
- Brake type: Friction brake
- Turbine:
- Type: Kaplan
- Number of blades: 4
- Blades angle: manually adjustable
- Guide wheels
- Dynamometers: two units, 5 kg x 25 gr.
The trainer must be supplied with manual in English language.
